This historic investment not only helps combat climate change, but also creates jobs and saves families money on energy bills! 💰 $156 million of this funding was awarded to the Florida Solar for All Coalition SELF (Solar and Energy Loan Fund) Solar United Neighbors The Nature Conservancy. The funds will be used to partner with local governments, community-based organizations, and others to deploy clean solar energy to benefit thousands of Florida households and transform communities that have been historically underinvested. 🌎✨ Today, at our Annual Earth Day 5K, the “Race For Our Future,” 3 runners supported a bold decision: to stop short of crossing the finish line to remind us that the race against the climate crisis is far from over. This powerful action serves as a poignant reminder that the climate emergency is an unfinished race.The CLEO Institute’s led effort emphasized that until we change course, there are no winners. The extreme weather events, and facts, speak for themselves.“We will achieve a collective victory when WE demand every state, every nation, every business to commit to climate action with bold intention to prevent us from reaching tipping points” said Executive Director, Yoca Arditi-RochaRenowned athletes Rodrigo Garduño, accompanied by his daughter, and Rodrigo De Ovando pictured here, globally recognized for their#54Dfitness programs, chose not to cross the finish line, to spotlight our collective message during this 5K honoring Earth Day:“There are no winners in the race against the Climate Crisis.
